THE PARENT ACADEMY

The Parent  Academy is the district’s initiative for providing resources and tools to help parents promote student achievement, enhance their parenting and advocacy skills, as well as grow personally and professionally.  The Parent Academy is open to all members of the community and courses are offered at locations throughout the county.  2013-2014 WAITING LIST

If you would like to be added to our waiting list,  please complete the following steps:

1. Send Ms. Stanberry an email at stanberryk@duvalschools.org.
Include your  child's name, grade they are in , and your phone number.

2. Wait for us to call you. The office staff will not have any additional information about the waiting list. You may keep updated by visiting this blog. Students are placed in number order according to the date we received an email. As soon as we call a parent a date is placed by their name. We will not remove the child's name. 

3.  When a spot is open, we will notify you to come in and fill out a packet and pay.

PLEASE REMEMBER WHEN WE SET EXTENDED DAY UP EACH YEAR IT IS ON A 1^ST COME 1^ST SERVED BASIS.

We “did” have a waiting list this year! 

The FINAL day of registration will be Monday, August 5, 2013 from 2:00-7:00.

*We will fill any classes that still have spots open. 

*If there is not a spot open on Monday, August 5th for your child/children they will be placed on a waiting list. 

*We will work on a number system. You will receive a number for each child.

*We will post information on this extended day blog each week (starting the week of August 26th).

*We will list each grade with the number we are on beside it.

*Then, you will know how far down on the list you are.
* The front office will not have this information. So..the blog is the best place to keep updated.
