Dear Parents,

If you have registered you child for extended day, we need you to come up to the school and receive your child's pick up information and QR code.

You may come either Friday August 14th between 3:30 - 5pm OR Monday August 17th between 3:30 - 6pm.

We will have a table outside, set up by the front office doors.

IMPORTANT!!!!!

If you did not receive a confirmation screen once you filled out the registration/application for extended day, you will not be registered. Please resubmit your registration/application again and make sure you go all the way to the confirmation screen. 

As of today, we still have 144 spots open for extended day.

Please make sure you go to www.duvalschools.org/extendedday to register your children ASAP. Students must be physically attending Bartram Springs Elementary.

On Friday, July 31 at 9am applications will go live and will be available for Parents and Guardians to locate and complete their online Extended Day application at:  www.duvalschools.org/extendedday 

 

REGISTRATION information and steps for 2020-2021:

Below are the steps and information/ guidelines set up by DCPS:

1. Complete the online registration form at www.duvalschools.org/extendedday. (This is only a registration form and does not mean you have a spot in extended day.) Anyone can register online all year long.

2. Directors will be using the registration forms to enroll students and set up classes. We will only be enrolling students who attend school in the building during the day.

3. You will be notified by the director if we have a spot for your child. Please wait to be contacted by the director. The office staff will not have this information. 

4. When the director notifies you that we have a spot, you will be given further directions on how to finish the enrollment process. 

5. Important changes this year due to COVID 19:

*We will ONLY be accepting online payments.

* Parents will NOT be allowed in the building during pick up or drop off. When we enroll your child, we will give you directions on the new procedures.

* Your child will be required to wear a mask.

We believe the district will be conducting registration (2020-2021) online, but we have not been notified of any details. This most likely will not happen until sometime over the summer. 
As soon as we are notified of the procedures, Mrs. Wright will send out the information to all parents.
I will also keep this blog site updated as we receive information.

Due to Covid 19, there will be a reduction in our staff and class sizes. This will result in limiting the number of students that will be allowed to register for this upcoming year. We would love to accommodate every student, but unfortunately that will not be possible. 

We are asking that you take this time to plan ahead (as a back up plan)  and look into registering your child/children in a surrounding day care for 2020-2021.  We do anticipate a higher number of people than usual, being placed on the waiting list. We will fill spots as they open throughout the year. This does not usually start to happen until October and again in December.

Tuesday, April 30th, 2019 ( Next year 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th graders only)  Time  4:00-6:00

Thursday, May 2nd, 2019 (Next year Kindergarten only)    Time   6:00-7:30

*Note: If you are registering more than one child in the same family, you may come on your youngest child’s day. However, we will only register Kindergarten students on Thursday. All other students must be registered either Monday or Tuesday.

All payments must be made by cash or check only on the night of registration (We do not accept credit cards/debit cards or online payments).

Prices: AM (7:00-8:15) $52.00 monthly 

            PM (3:00-6:00) $100.00 monthly 

            Both AM and PM $152.00 monthly

Note: The first payment is due on the day of registration for the full month. If you would like to register for next year and have a spot saved for your child, you may get the paperwork from Ms. Stanberry only on one of the dates listed above. All students must be registered in the school before you can register for extended day. 

 All students that are NOT registered in May will be placed on a waiting list. We will only have one registration this year.

We are having the registration to help you take care of this early and not have to worry about coming up here during the summer in the evening.

PLEASE REMEMBER WHEN WE SET EXTENDED DAY UP EACH YEAR IT IS ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS. We “did” have a waiting list this year!
